This course is Open Enrollment and available to all law abiding civilians, law enforcement and military personnel.
Xray Alpha and Ben Stoeger 3 Day Carbine/Pistol is a course that will give the shooter a better understanding of fundamentals at speed. This is an adaptive course utilizing an inductive learning strategy that transitions principles of practical and tactical pistol over to performance carbine shooting. Using inductive teaching strategies this course aims to develop shooting fundamentals and give students a solid foundation for real performance shooting and training. Students will shoot a series of drills and exercises with the primary focus being foundational skill development to facilitate execution of shooting fundamentals at speed with maximum accountability, control and performance. At the end of training students will have a better understanding on how to train properly and utilize proven practical training principles to increase the performance and consistency of their individual hard skills.
This is a high-volume shooting, dynamic and physically demanding course. This course is not designed to be a basic level training course. Shooters are expected to have a good understanding of safety and principles of shooting and training in a dynamic environment
Gear Requirements: Duty Style Carbine with Optic (RDS or LPVO) and magazines, Duty Pistol with magazines, Range Belt with 2 pistol and 1 rifle mag pouch minimum, recommend 4 rifle and 5 pistol magazines minimum, ear and eye protection, snacks and water are highly recommended.
Suggested minimum round count 1200 rounds pistol, 1000 rounds rifle (you are welcome to shoot more and I advise you bring extra ammo so you have the option)
Please arrive to the range on the first day at 8:00am.
